Volunteers
It’s Spooky To
Be Hungry® - CSRA has no paid employees and keeps none of
the money we raise directly from our projects to cover administrative
costs. We keep expenses low by using volunteers and having
many of our needed services donated or underwritten by generous
Friends of Spooky and Spooky Supporters. Every Spooky participant,
from our Board of Directors, through our Administrative Staff,
through our neighborhood, business, and school volunteers,
donates his or her time and energy to help make the project
a success.
There are a variety of ways for you to volunteer with the
CSRA Chapter of It’s Spooky to be Hungry®.
• Volunteer to lead your neighborhood’s Spooky food drive.
Spooky is a unique, easy, and fun event, involving your family,
neighbors, and friends in good work, while making new friends
along the way!
• Get your organization, whether it’s a school, business,
faith community or civic organization, involved in a Spooky
drive.
• Volunteer to collect food in your own, or a near-by, neighborhood.
Get a club, unit, troop or other group to volunteer in a neighborhood
or with our “Reserve Troops”.
• Become a Spooky Coordinator. Help us support and organize
the various Spooky collection sites throughout the CSRA.
• Volunteer with our talented Staff, and work behind the scenes
to help plan and prepare for the event.
We rely on the wonderful generosity of volunteers
like YOU to support our mission of strengthening our community
through the fight against hunger. Contact
